New York State United Teachers

NYSUT, the state's largest union, represents some 600,000 classroom teachers and other school employees; faculty and other professionals at the state's community colleges, State University of New York and City University of New York, and other education and health professionals. NYSUT is affiliated with the American Federation of Teachers, National Education Association and AFL-CIO.

The Teaching Channel

The Teaching Channel believes that what makes teachers inspiring is how they became experts -- the hours and years they've dedicated to improving their craft to benefit their students. Their mission is to capture their technique on video so that all teachers -- new or seasoned -- have a place to find inspiration. They provide tools to take a few notes, trade ideas, and even build your own personal workspace. And because teaching is not one-size-fits-all, they have tailored their technology so you can find what works best for you.
